Weddings
With the capacity to host up to 3,000 guests in one sitting, the Yorkshire Event Centre is the ideal venue for Asian Weddings.
The Yorkshire Event Centre (YEC), located on the outskirts of the picturesque spa town of Harrogate, offers a unique setting for your special day.
We are able to accommodate from 500 up to 1200 guests in Hall 2, our most popular venue for wedding celebrations. For larger guest numbers we can accommodate up to 2,400 in our largest venue, Hall 1, conveniently located next door to Hall 2. Alternatively, the hire of both Halls 1 and 2 together provide the ultimate wedding venue to share with all your friends and family.
Choosing the YEC offers you not only a fabulous flexible venue but exclusive use of the stunning 250 acre grounds to enjoy. The site is privately owned allowing you to enjoy your special day exclusively with your guests. The Rose Garden and Pagoda to the rear of the Halls and the views over the Crimple Valley, offer the ideal setting for photographs.
As each wedding at the YEC is unique, we create bespoke packages based on your budget and event requirements. Our experienced and friendly venue management team are here to assist with every step of the way to ensure you have a day to remember.

- Each Hall contains a lockable Organisers Office with a safe allowing you to securely store any valuables or gifts. The office can be utilised as a dressing or changing room. Hall 2 contains a purpose built cloakroom too.
- Use of our kitchen for your own preferred caterer. We work closely with our preferred suppliers Apna Khana and Iqbal Catering to deliver the very best in Asian catering.
- 2 helicopter landing spaces available on site
- The large loading door in Hall 2 and the level access loading area allows hassle free loading for production teams.
- Thousands of free, level access car parking spaces on site and adjacent to the Halls – ensuring no long walks for your guests!

- Any profits that our business generates go to fund the work of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, a registered charity which actively supports agriculture, the environment and rural initiatives within the Yorkshire region.
